BOOKING A ZOOM PRESENTATION HOSTED BY CLIENT
Presentations may be booked via telephone, e-mail, or in writing. Dates will be held for a maximum of 14 days until final confirmation in writing is obtained. A written confirmation (either e-mail or letter) is required.
Clients should supply the following with the confirmation:
Contact Point with telephone number. Log-in time for presentation. Actual time presentation is to start. Details of any intermission required. Private or Open event. Ticket cost if any. Payment arrangements, BACs, PayPal etc

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The presentation will be produced using PowerPoint with audio and possibly some video content. The presentation will be shared on-line through the Zoom platform. The performer will link to the Zoom meeting site via a high rate broadband connection. It is recommended that the presentation be viewed on a laptop, or desk top computer, preferably linked to a TV screen for improved visual quality. NO RECORDING of the presentation along with its soundtrack is permitted.
OPENING/END SEQUENCE DETAILS & STAGE DIRECTIONS
A dual camera system will be in operation The screen will have a caption slide:
WELCOME TO THIS EVENING’S/MORNING’S/AFTERNOON’S PRESENTATION
1. Following introduction by client the presenter will share their screen. The camera feed will be switched off. 2. The presentation will begin with opening titles and music. 3. Following the titles the presenter will appear to one side of the presentation in costume and may have props to show utilizing the second camera. 4. Audio-Visual sequences that form part of the presentation will be presented without the presenter being shown but they will be heard. At the end of the A-V sequence the image of the presenter will return using the second camera. 5. The presentation will end with music and credits. Odyssey Productions® is legally bound to show these credits. 6. The last caption states THANK YOU. 7. The share screen will be disconnected, and the camera feed will be switched on, presenter will be shown in standard format. 8. Question & answer session may be included if required |
COPYRIGHT
Definitions: ‘Presentation’ – a speech, lecture or talk in which a new product, idea, or piece of work is shown and explained to an audience. This may include images, audio, video and props. ‘Author’: The original writer and researcher of the presentation.
Copyright of the Presentation remains with the author of the presentation in line with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended). Within the presentation there may be images, audio and video the copyright of which are owned by third parties. Permission for use of these has been granted through the author/presenter for a specific event and are not transferable. Accreditation to images, audio and video is noted at the end of the presentation. The presenter is legally bound to show these credits. The host organization should ensure that they have obtained the relevant license(s) for public performance of audio recordings. Research material including text is copyright of the author of the presentation. Royalty payments for images and video are the responsibility of the author and are included in the fee. Scripts, presentation notes and image material will not be provided in advance or following a presentation unless agreement has been entered into for the production of such material. Copyright agreements for music and images with third parties require that no data will be transferred to another computer or stored in a retrieval system.
RECORDING
A performer has the exclusive right to authorize the recording and/or broadcast of his/her performances. The use or broadcast of recordings without the performer's consent and the import or distribution of illicit recordings are also infringements of the performer's rights. A person having an exclusive recording contract over one or more performances of an artist holds equivalent rights to the performer him/herself. As the rights to images and moving pictures are held by various parties there are limits to the use of the material. There shall be no screen photographs, filming, data recording or audio recording of the presentation during the performance. On Zoom and similar platforms the recording option should be disabled. As part of a specific agreement presentations may be used within an organization to view but must not be made available to the general public via any on-line platform such as YouTube in line with the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003. Copies of the presentation on disc or other digital medium are not available. Should any digital recordings found to have been made in contravention of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (as amended) those responsible for the recording(s) will face legal action.
LIVE STREAMING
Odyssey Zoom Presentations are NOT designed to be live streamed. Live Streaming is considered a ‘broadcast’, the host would be required to have obtained all suitable licenses to broadcast the presentation. Audio content of Odyssey Presentations® is not permitted to be broadcast in line with agreements with the copyright holders and the PRS. YouTube regulations do not permit the live streaming of certain audio and video and any attempt to stream the presentation may place the host in contravention of YouTube regulations and conditions of use. Copyright agreements for images are for a single presentation in the UK, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man only through a Zoom (or similar) platform. Images may not be broadcast.

PAY-PER-VIEW
Odyssey offer s a Pay-Per-View service with ticket sales administered through Eventbrite Non-Profit organizations: Tickets will be charged at £4 pp (Minimum 30 persons, maximum 95 persons) . Increased audience on request. Commercial organizations: Tickets will be charged at £8 pp (Minimum 40 persons, maximum 95 persons) Increased audience on request.
